How is eating garlic naan for diet?

It’s important to first recognize that no foods are inherently “good” or “bad” or even “healthy” for that matter. Your goal should be to live a healthy lifestyle, not to stick to a diet.

Garlic is very good for health but naan is made from refined wheat flour, it has no vitamin,mineral and fiber left in it, it is a complete refined carbohydrate source with no nutrients and totally useless to our body.

That being said, you are probably watching what you eat because you want to lose weight, for health reasons, hopefully. While carbs and fat are both actually ESSENTIAL to weight loss, the carbs and fat you are getting from naan is not conducive to sustained weight loss. For one, it is not filling (like an avocado or fish would be), and it does not metabolize into energy in a way that promotes the creation of lean muscle mass.

In short, eat it once in awhile. It won’t kill you. But don’t make it a staple in your diet, and don’t eat more than a serving in one sitting. – mk
