Here are some useful tips to help you get through the current challenging times:-
EAT COOKED FOOD
You are advised to eat home cooked food. We cannot be sure whether our food handlers have maintained good hygiene practices and have washed their hands regularly. However, we have the comfort that thorough cooking will definitely kill the virus.
Please remember soaking your vegetables in vinegar and/or baking soda will NOT kill the virus.
During this pandemic, please reduce or abstain from eating raw food.
EAT GOOD FOOD
Since rice is our staple food, eating brown rice is the better option.
There are plenty of affordable food you can purchase that are healthy and easy to add to your diet. They are fish, chicken, eggs, onion, garlic, ginger, broccoli, spinach, potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, carrot, cabbage, leafy green vegetables, beans, lentils, soy products, oatmeal, bananas, oranges, apples, watermelon, papaya and pineapple. You are advised that this list is inclusive but not exhaustive.

You should drink lemon juice with warm water about three times a day. Drinking warm lemon juice helps in maintaining the pH balance of the body. It also helps in fighting respiratory tract infections, sore throat and the inflammation of the tonsils.
