Growing up my father often told me “Time waits for no man.” As a youth, I did not understand the full meaning of the commonly used phase. But today, I have a full appreciation of the familiar saying. Time is an invaluable and priceless commodity in your life journey. It is life’s currency, as it continues flowing and passing by regardless of how we use it. Time is like a river, steady and consistent. Each person is required to manage their time, talents, and treasures. Time is the component that can unleash your talents and treasures.
It is time to take the important measures and efforts to advance your life to the next level. Each day, you are given another opportunity to capitalize on life’s currency. Use each day to align your thoughts and actions with who and what you are created to be and do because each moment in your life is designed specifically for you.
For this season, spring forward into running after your life purpose and destiny. Every day is a new opportunity to get closer to fulfilling your destiny. Redefine your life to value and maximize each moment in time with purpose. Intentional purpose will lead to ordered steps; ordered steps will lead to momentum; and then you will look back to see woven patterns and results. You must draw a line in the sand and make up in your mind that I will start living out my destiny today!
When you are serious about destiny, you will be serious about managing your time to the fullest, which will lead to fulfilling purpose with your talents and treasures.
Here is a simple exercise to incorporate into your day to start running after your destiny… At the end of each day, reflect on your day and write down at least three things you accomplished towards fulfilling purpose. Next to your accomplishments, write three tasks/items you desire to complete on tomorrow. This begins your roadmap and journey plan toward your life purpose and keeps you focused on your destiny. Destiny is calling you… And like daddy said “Time waits for no man.”
