The questions we need to answer is ‘Does someone’s behavior depend on religious affiliation or not’ I am absolutely convinced that it this is nothing more than a stereotype. People are different regardless of its religious affiliation.
It is clear that our character determines our behavior. If you are cruel, greedy and just a bad men person, I am convinced that religion would not change your behavior. Non-religious people can be boorish or unmannerly in exactly the same way as religious.
Let’s not forget that people grow up in accordance with how they were brought up. We learn how to behave from our environment, friends and family. So, if our environment had a negative influence on us, we cannot become decent people. It does not matter if we are religious or not.
It’s important to bear in mind that religion is a cultural system of behaviors and practices; world views; ethics; and social organization. Religion teaches people be kind and help other people. As a result, religious people who strongly believe and observe all the religious traditions are kind and well-mannered. But not all people who say they are religious show those qualities?.
I believe that people are different, and we cannot judge them by their religion. People are violent and angry or kind and fair because they are what they are, not because of their religious affiliation. – Alice
