Ideally speaking we need to eat fruits daily. Fruit is the most perfect food for us as humans in that it is the easiest to digest, has powerful cleansing and detoxifying properties, is an excellent source of fiber and healthy sugars, is packed full of vitamins and minerals, as well as health protective and healing antioxidants and phytonutrients. Fruits are a source of healthy carbohydrates, are naturally low in fat (most, aside from the avocado, have negligible amounts), and are even a source of protein.  Nature provides fruit abundantly and attracts us to it via its beautiful colors, delicious flavors, and pleasant textures.

Leading edge doctors, like Dr. Joel Fuhrman and Dr. Gabriel Cousens are even using it as part diabetes type 2 treatment, as well as overall healing and prevention for acute and chronic diseases. Dr. Robert Morse also uses it as the most powerful healing food and states: “Superior deep-tissue detoxification can only take place with fruits. ” It is one of the most powerful anti-cancer foods as well.

It is best to choose and enjoy a wide variety of fruits, and eat them seasonally from local and organic sources as much as possible. And don’t forget, vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini and other squash are technically all fruits as well. – Evita OchelNatural memory enhancer
