Is it true that we should eat a heavy breakfast and lunch but our dinner should be light.

It totally depends on your energy needs. The good rule however is to have the heaviest meal early in the day since you have enough time to burn of excess calories before they get stored as fats after being converted to triglycerides. If your blood sugar stays high for a specific time after your meal the insulin drives the process of converting excess glycogen into triglycerides in the liver which then gets transported to fat cells. Higher the triglycerides higher is the ldl particle count ( not the ldl cholesterol that most doctors talk about) even with a low ldl cholesterol if your triglycerides are high the chances are that you have high ldl particles count which is dangerous. Apologies for deviating from the topic.

But the key is to reduce easy carb towards the end of the day and make it a practice to have your dinner light and as early as possible. I have it before sundown and my triglycerides whet down from 142 to 72 in one month and to 59 in two months. I follow a 7 hour eating window with 3 meals 0 snack and 17 hour fasting window every day. Also known as intermittent fasting.

Due to the above reasoning its seems the best option would be to have a heavy meal for breakfast and lunch, but dinner should be really light. You will find your body slim and healthy. -mkNatural memory enhancer
