PERSON-TO-PERSON SPREAD
Covid-19 is thought to spread mainly from person to person
– between people who are in close contact with one another ( within about 2 meters ).
– through droplets generated when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
And people are thought to be most contagious when they are most symptomatic ( the sickest ).
The incubation period for the disease is said to be around 14 days.
STAY INDOORS ALWAYS
The human movement control order and the practice of social distancing are badly needed to control and possibly, eradicate the spread of the virus. If everybody stays at home, you do NOT run the risk of catching the disease unless an infected person lives in your house. So it is CRUCIAL and PARAMOUNT to stay indoors at all times if we are serious of combating this deadly virus.
We have to eat to live! You need to go outdoors to buy essentials. Please try to limit the trip to once a week. Buy your groceries, your medicines and supplements and all other necessities during that ONE trip. DO NOT HOARD! Hoarding is a serious crime; more so now. Be compassionate, others too have to eat to live. DO NOT BE GREEDY AND SELFISH!
Please do NOT travel in a group from a household; a single individual is more than enough! NEVER take children outdoors!
If you have a cough, please strictly stay indoors and treat your cough first before you ever think of going outdoors.
Even if you have an unexpected cough, please cough into a tissue or a handkerchief. If you do not have a tissue or a handkerchief, then please cough or sneeze into your upper sleeves. Please do NOT cough into the atmosphere. People around you are more likely to be paranoid when someone coughs or sneezes. Please dispose off the tissue appropriately. Never throw it away indiscriminately. Be considerate! Dispose the tissue in a plastic bag and immediately tie the top of the bag. Then wash your hands well with soap and water. In the case of the soiled handkerchief and the shirt or top, please soak in hot water and detergent when you get home from the outdoors or soon after if you had coughed or sneezed at home. Then, wash your hands well with soap and water.
When you return home after going outdoors, you must immediately take a bath and change your clothes. The used clothes must be soaked in hot water and detergent immediately after you have taken a bath. And finally wash your hands well with soap and water.
If you have neighbors who are old and single, please volunteer to buy groceries and necessities for them. Most often, they will pay for those items you have bought for them. PLEASE BE CARING!
If we can have 14 continuous days of no new infections, we can conclude that we have STARTED to win the battle against this deadly virus.
As usual, we remind you to take your Memo Plus Gold daily. It will help to keep you alert and mentally sharp.
